The Billy Show, November 2007
This was our youth theatre’s first show and it was an open workshop with performance elements. The group wanted to show adults what it was like to be a young person in the 21st century, and wanted to gain the audiences’ understanding of the particular challenges they face. Discussing stereotypes, celebrity culture, role models and instant gratification, the group tried out lots of different theatre for social change forms and involved the audience directly in the action.
Co directed by Sarah Thornton and Fiona Thompson.
